I would like to make ad's legal note roll out not only on PCs but also on mobile phones and tablets. Just tested that "mouseover" doesnt trigger when i touch the area on my smartphone. Is there an easy way of changing the code to work in both cases without the need of editing the html file outside of Flash?
The "mouseover" event works on android's browser somehow. But still... not mobile Chrome.
there is no mouseover event for touch screens. you have to use touches/gestures for touch screens.
Mouse Events do work on touch screens, you can check that by making a button with rollover and down states that are different. But, you wouldn't want to do that in real life, because Android works differently to iOS. With iOS I believe the virtual cursor is moved off screen when you lift your finger, with Android it stays where you last pointed.
This has the bad side effect that after you have pointed at such a button, it remains in the rollover state until you touch somewhere else. That may be technically the right thing for it to do, but it looks wrong.
