I'm thinking of getting the suite but there are so many programs attached to it that I'll never use - is there something new that will automatically turn an inDesign book into a kindle or kobo compatible book *not pdf* for uploading to Amazona and Barns and Noble.
[Question is about InDesign, so moved that that forum... Mod]
InDesign is an excellent tool for producing reflowable text ePubs and fixed layout ePubs, which can then be easily converted to mobi files for the Kindle. But producing good ePubs is not easy (intuitive). I strongly recommend you get some training such as the online tutorials provided by Lynda.com and Trainsimple.com.
