Am laying out a novel. For some reason I've got orphan control turned on for all paragraphs, so short lines of dialog (and there's tons) force two words to the second line. Looking at instance where "my daddy" forces to the second line. If I try to manually kern back so just "my" goes to the first line (and there's heaps of room for it) it doesn't work until BOTH words get squeezed back. Any clues?
