LR (NON CC) 6.2 Hangs on Slideshows

    byronc94654384 Level 1

This just started and I'm not sure why.  LR standalone 6.2. I upgraded from the previous version for this reason.  It hasn't helped.  I can start LR and move around through various windows and features.  When I try to preview or play a slideshow it hangs usually on the 2nd slide saying "preparing preview for slide #2".  This was working as soon as 2 weeks ago.  LR has become massively slow, taking up to a minute to open the next screen.
