Captivate 9: Quiz Attempts Count

Hi,

I have a quiz setup where the user is allowed 3 attempts. On the result page I have a conditional action that displays different text depending whether the user;

1) has failed 1-2 times

2) has failed 3 times (no more tries allowed)

3) has passed

This all works as expected apart from in case 1). I have some text which includes the fail count (cpQuizInfoAttempts), but sometimes a user will fail 1-2 times and then close the course and come back later for the 3rd attempt. When they reload the course they start on the results page, but the cpQuizInfoAttempts variable is always set to 0!

If the user fails once, closes, then reopens the course cpQuizInfoAttempts shows 0. If the user chooses to retake the quiz and fails a 2nd time the cpQuizInfoAttempts correctly displays as 2, so the first attempt is not lost. Any idea why the cpQuizInfoAttempts is not being loaded from the LMS when the user restarts the course?

Thanks for any help!
