Most likely teh image has been resized to 17x22 but you might be telling to still print in an 8.5x11 space, thus the printer thinks the page has ended and that’s why the lower third is missing.
Screen shots of the Lightroom print dialog will probably help, but might need to look at the Print Settings window as well.
The largest print I can do is 13 x 19". I find that if I choose the right paper size in the page setup (printer driver) and then set the appropriate cell size in the print module I always get what I'm expecting.
Thanks for your help. Can you please tell me how to set lightroom to print in a 17x22 space.
I've had the same problem. I do the page setup, and the preview (as in your screenshot above) shows everything is fine. Yet the photo prints in the wrong orientation and cuts off part or most of the image. Yes, I've clicked on both landscape and portrait, but doesn't seem to want to print larger sizes correctly. I set the paper size to what's in the printer, and tell Lightroom what size I want. I've looked, can't find, but would love a tutorial on setting up LR for printing on a Mac and all the settings needed for single photo printing. Know of any? Thanks.
KelbyOne http://kelbyone.com/ has a course by RC Concepcion on printing from LightRoom. It is a subscription based learning center where you can join for 1 month for $20 or one year for $200; however, they offer a free 10 day trial.
Thanks, Joe. I'll check it out.
