There are SO few. Really. It's on my list of things we need. For now, I like this one best; it's not super current but many of the features and functions are still very similar: http://tv.adobe.com/watch/learn-photoshop-cc/quickly-draw-and-share-concepts-in-adobe-sket ch/
Let me know if it helps. Or doesn't.
Thank you! Worlds better! I can actually get started! - but yeah - would
love some more in depth tutorial help with all the options.
Also - I'm on my ipad mini, so not sure if that makes a diif in terms of
layout - but my toolbar is on the left rather than the top - and I don't
have the inkwell as such - but I figured out how to get access to the
colours by tapping the pens/brushes….is this merely a version thing?
I'm not the most technical person on the planet (I'm a traditional pen and
paper illustrator) but I really want to learn how to use this properly, so
I can go digital as well. Hoping I can figure it out as I go along. As an
Adobe member will/could I be updated if/when there are more Sketch
Many thanks for your help,

Glad you found it more useful. It's the best tutorial I've found. As you mentioned, a few things have changed in the UI: the toolbar JUST changed with this release and the fifth brush feature no longer works the same but for the most part... it shows the features.
Question: What do you mean by "Inkwell"?
Also, you can always contact us through the in-app feedback (access it through the Sketch icon in the upper left corner.
Wonderful! I'll be sure to use it. Thanks.
The Inkwell situ:
In the tutorial the layout has the brushes/tools at the top of the screen
and there seems to be a 7th tool - a solid block - that activates a
grid-like colour selection function when the narrator taps on it (about a
1:47 into it) - he then goes on to blend his own colours and talk about how
you can import & save patterns & colours etc - but on my ipad where the
brushes are on the left there wasn't that 7th tool - I figured out that I
had to swipe my pen from right to left across the chosen brush to get a
chance to change the colour and size….but I haven't yet stumbled on how to
blend my own colours or import patterns from an archive etc….I shall
continue my quest!

OK, A couple of things:
If you long-press on the Color circle, it will bring up an eyedropper tool so you can sample a color and use its exact match somewhere else. Also, if you look at the toolbar with the Color circle, there's an icon with overlapping black and white circles. Tap that and it enables you to blend and combine colors. Try it.
And, just one more thing... You definitely need to also check out Adobe Capture CC: Adobe Capture CC on the App Store

I know it's a bit late, but here's a great walkthrough of the app by our own fabulous ACP, cherlita ! The app has been updated since this was created, but it should still be very helpful.
Let me know if this helps. Thanks for the awesome content, Cher!
Thank you for your kind words, and for sharing the link to my story featuring Sketch.
Rie, and everyone, I hope you find it helpful.
