May i know when does the Lightroom is crashing.
Go to the preferences of the Lightroom and un-check the option "show add photo screen"
Me too. I just upgraded to LR CC yesterday. I downloaded 6.2. It worked ok the first day. Now, it keeps crashing!! I've been using LR since V1 beta. I've NEVER been unhappy with LR. I'm going to have to switch back to LR5 until they fix this mess. Problem is, I started culling and editing 2 shoots in CC. Now, I can't use the software!!! Please fix this Adobe!! I can't run a business like this!! Thanks!!
When it starts to import photos, and when I tried to export a slide show. I unchecked that box. It still crashes.
Same here!! Ive used Lightroom for the last 4 years. I have no other editing software...
For me it seems to run OK once. It then leaves lightroom.exe active and will not start again until I stop the lightroom.exe process using task manager. Any ideas on how to make it automatically close lightroom.exe on exit?
Can you copy the catalog to the desktop and then open the catalog from there. check if the Lightroom still crashes.?
If it still crashes can you paste the crash log here.

Three things to try:
- Turn off the new Add Photos option. Go to the Preferences dialog > General tab and uncheck the Show ‘Add Photos’ screen checkbox.
- Reset your Lightroom preferences by holding down the Alt + Shift (Windows) / Option + Shift (Mac) keys while opening Lightroom. The timing though is tricky. Hold these keys down immediately after clicking/double-clicking on application launch icon. Don't forget to set up all of your preferences again though, especially the super important Automatically Write to XMP setting, if you have to reset things.
- Roll back to Lightroom CC 2015.1.1 or Lightroom 6.1.1.
