User's browser window size & monitor resolution

      Hello everyone!

I've been searching for methods to read a current user's window size and/or monitor resolution, in order to create a dynamic system that fills the browser window entirely, by scaling an SWF to fit within that users current frame. I understand that both Tables and SWFs can be scaled by percentage, however height is my area of concern, not width. With the variances in user toolbar configurations and screen resolutions, it is difficult to design a one-size-fits-all solution, without scrollbars. I'm not a big fan of scrolling (no offense to anyone) I'd like my sites to fill the users viewable area, also without having to bring up a new browser window (where those params can be controlled). I've been considering using a redirect and doing just that, but I'd like to explore some other options first.

There doesn't seem to be a lot of info out there on this subject, does anyone have any ideas on how to do this?
