Some VOB files inserted into timeline for editing loss audit track

Media VOB files play outside of Adobe Premiere 13 in Windows Media player and other players, along with the edit function within Premiere.  When these same files inserted into timeline for editing, video is good, but sound is removed, does anyone know of fix in Premiere for this problem.

What computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 13 installed? Have you updated 13 to 13.1 using an opened project's Help Menu/Updates?

Please given more details regarding VOB files as your project's source media.

          1. What is the specific name of your problem DVD video file or files? Are they specifically VTS_01_1.VOB, VTS_01_2.VOB, etc?

          2. How are you getting it or them into the project?

DVD disc in burner tray with Add Media/DVD camera or Computer drive/Video Importer or some other way?

Does your DVD video files have the frame size of 720 x 480 or 720 x 576 with frame rate of 29.97/30 or 25 respectively?

Please confirm that the problem is absence of audio on the Timeline and not audio out of sync with video on the Timeline.

Please consider and give more details.

          Thank you.
