- I can see that you are using 10.9.5, i would suggest you to update your Mac OS X to 10.10.5 as with that your graphics drivers will also be updated which might do the trick for you.
I didn't see ANY mention in the update that it was required to be in 10.10.x. And if so, why was the update offered to me as I am on 10.9?
I really don't see that this is a "Correct Answer", surely there is a better solution, and Adobe has to be more careful about their updates than requiring a MAJOR OS update for a .x release of their product.
Also you are suggesting a MAJOR effort here - to update my OS - and you are only suggesting that this "might" fix the problem. If that was a "would" then maybe, but I'd prefer to go back to the previous version of LR if that were the case.
So, what I'm really after here is an explanation about why this is actually a problem, does anyone know?
Having the same problems; panorama worked fine in 6.1 but since upgrade to 6.2 all I get is a black preview and if I proceed to merge a black pano. I am using Win 10 it a 6 core extreme processor, 32GB ram with ssd's etc. so this is not an underpowered machine! I am considering going back to 6.1 until Adobe sorts this seriously bad update out.
There are many confirmed issues with LR 6.2 - you may try the steps here: Update on Lightroom 2015.2 / Lightroom 6.2 Release
Anyhow, you are best helped if you roll back to 6.1.1 as many users: http://www.lightroomqueen.com/how-do-i-roll-back-to-lightroom-2015-1-1-or-lightroom-6-1-1/
Yes, thanks! I just did that (rolled back to 6.1.1), especially after having a look at the appalling new import pane.
