I find it irritating that more and more people only use the comments section to promote themselves : "Very nice Check my profile if you have free time, thanks https://www.behance.net/xxxxxxx ". It doesn't feel like a community. Or are designers in general just hollow, egocentrical people ? I don't believe any of the so called "feedback" others give on my projects. I wish sometimes people would tell me that my work sucks and tell me what I can do to make it better, but you don't see that kind of honesty on this platform.
I don't feel the need to upload my work anymore because I'm basically just creating page with comments sections where people can promote themselves to get more likes. Maybe behance should just disable comments in general?
I've been getting this and it's not in the spirit of making a comment. I report anyone who does this as spam and the delete their comment.
You do have the option to turn off comments through the Project Settings --> Edit Privacy on the bottom left of the popup. We're also looking at revamping comments as we get a lot of feedback about them.
