download CC LR by mistake. How to get back to 6.1.1?

I have a standalone licence for Lightroom 6.1.1 and thought there was an update for this but when I loaded it I found it was CC lightroom. Now I am in a 30 day plan trial for CC and cannot remove this. I have downloaded 6.0 but can only use this when signed in to the trial period and cannot upgrade to 6.1.1. Help please to get back to 65.1.1 and no CC plan.

uninstall all your cc files including the cc desktop app if you have no cc programs and clean per Use the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems

then install your lr 6 and update it, or install the 6.1.1 version directly:

I have LR 6.0 running and when I press update, I get an Adobe Lightroom and CCLR update of 209Mb which states it is for both programmes, but this is what caused the problem to begin with as updating resulted in CC LR. I cannot get 6.1.1 back. I feel Adobe has made it very difficult to go any way other than there CC route. Any suggestions? gratefully received. Clive

If you are trying to activate the installed LR app using serial number, you can remove Lightroom Reg and Cookie file and then when you launch Lightroom app it will prompt option to enter serial number .

Thanks. I have a Mac running EL Capitan. Went through the process of deleting all LR support files, but LR just came up with no request for serial number and the update screen is the same - will just take me into CC. I think Adobe have fixed it!

run the cleaner again.

restart your computer.

rename your log file so you see if a new one is generated.

clear your temp and tmp folders.

when you install, right click the exe and click 'run as administrator'.
