Here is what you can try: Configuration error | CC, CS‌ . If that doesn't work, please run cleaner tool and remove Adobe Application Manager and retry. You may try to Troubleshoot installation with install logs | CS3, CS4

Ok, I've viewed your links and here is what I have.

1) Configuration error is different that error:5 I'm getting error 5 when trying to launch InDesign.

     1a) should i still try the configuration error

2) What is error: 5 specifically?

3) Tried troubleshoot install logs and nothing shows for CS4

4) With above said, since my application files were pulled from external back up, they were originally saved to backup, via drop & drag.

     4a) I was advised I'm missing disk images? Yes or no?

     4b) Did something not transfer properly using the drop and drag message?

     4c) Would the cleaner tool do anything?
