The new version of LR is basically BUG. Not just parts of it, the Whole Program is a BUG. You should revert to LR 2015.1.1 and or 6.1.1 by following the steps given over at the Lightroom Queen website.
Best of luck to you.
Not a good solution Jitendra.
Its happening to about 70,00 images.
As shhootistbond007 suggests I'll revert to a previous version.
Ridiculous upgrade that should never have been released.
I'm hearing awful reports from different colleagues.
I'm having the same problem, but not to the same extent.
I recently moved my "archive" (photos before 2013) from one external drive to another.
During the move about 70 files would not move over. I jumped through a couple hoops and got that to happen. All of these 70 plus moved OK.
But as I was checking to be sure the 70 were OK I ran into a few, so far a few, not widespread, that have this "...encountered problems..." problem.
I also have a few files here and there that are rendering very oddly.
Here's a screen shot of the one folder on one day so far that has the problem.
The black circles with exclamation mark is the corrupt metadata.
Change the location of those images from outside lightroom and then find those within lightroom , this might fix that.
Where exactly are all those images present ?
It can be location specific as well.
I also have exactly same problem - files are stored on NAS and it accessed via AFP. On some photos sometimes "black circles with exclamation mark" appears.
For some files, it is gone after couple of minutes, for others not.
What solves the problem completely, is moving (or renaming) the problematic file (with XMP) to another location and copying it back to original location.
However, it is very inconvenient.
Is there a permanent solution?
P.S. any logs/tcpdumps/etc can be provided to help troubleshooting
I got the same problems with afp, to fix it i changes to smb. But that can´t be the solution because that is very very slow!
Are there any news to fix that problem, as it works before.
