    Restrictions on Layers

I have been working on an animation project and have imported multiple .psd for this project. Recently when I try to import a new .psd it comes in with a restricted time usually about 24 frames and I would like it to last about 72 frames. How would I remove this limitation? It also does not come in with the usual .psd icon but has multiple images over eachother as the icon on the left hand side of the layers box.

Make sure that you did not import as a sequence. Photoshop and all image files come in as assets with no fixed length. The length of the layer when it it placed in a timeline is set in the preferences. If you cannot just set a new out point then you imported as an image sequence. The icon is different. It kind of looks like a small hand of cards. Import again and make sure that the image sequence box is not checked.Screen Shot 2015-10-10 at 10.28.42 AM.png
