I have a 2008 MacBook running on OS X Yosemite 10.10.5 and I recently downloaded Lightroom and Photoshop CC. Just yesterday I was told by an expert to reset my preferences, so I know that is not the problem, but why is my Lightroom not syncing any of my photos to mobile? Another issue I was having that could be linked to this is that when I import photos, Lightroom won't create a viewable Finder folder organized by date. My friend has this capability to sift through his photos without ever opening Lightroom because of this local storage, but I cannot find this option. Lightroom only saves to the "Creative Cloud" folders when I create a new collection. Not even the catalog of "All Photos" syncs with my phone or shows up in Finder under any folder. Please help with this because I would really like to import my photos from the Photos app and have access to them in lightroom and mobile!!
Please go to the Preferences of Lightroom , and then Lightroom Mobile, please click on "Delete All Data"
Restart Lightroom, and please create a Collection and then Sync the Collection with LR Mobile.
Also , as of now there is not plugin to import the images from the " Photos App" to Lightroom.
You may export the images from Photos to your computer and then import them in Lightroom.
How do I sync a collection with mobile?
