Could you please uninstall and reinstall Creative Cloud and then try and update Lightroom .

I have tried this. After reinstalling Creative Cloud, I successfully installed the Photoshop app, but the LR app fails.
I would request you to please uninstall Lightroom from the computer, restart the computer and then install Lightroom from Creative Cloud and then check for updates.
This time it says it installed but a patch failed. I have seen this before also. Thank you for trying.
