Export or render your photoshop document as a quicktime movie then import to AFX
My problem is that I have dozens of graphics files with 2-3 video files (in EACH scene). So putting together the whole scene then importing the PSD file to retain all the individual elements is the only way for me to go. The problem is that ALL the individual elements work once imported into After Effects EXCEPT the video files.
So you are saying the only way to do this is the individually export each Video Timeline file to quicktime, THEN replace all the video files from scratch within After Effects?
If editing the assets is of such prime importance I would import the graphic elements into AFX then import video clips and assemble in a AFX composition. Then you could click any element and edit in photoshop and sutomatically update it in AFX. Im sure there is a tutorial for this workflow somewhere on line.
