Windows10 - Nvidia 980GTX - Wacom Intuos 4 - Dual Monitor
I can't get my Pen to work. Mouse works fine. Reinstalled all drivers and applications and all are up to date. Dumped preferences, tried with windows pen settings on and off. Single monitor. Pen works in other adobe apps so far. As far as I can tell it seems like a render issue. I can draw boxes and hit fills and all that but if i draw a marque or try to move a box it completely freezes until I move the cursor off the Indesign application (win taskbar or second monitor). Than the change will be made. I'm completely stumped wether I can trouble shoot this or if this is driver thing or adobe thing.
Solved it. Looks like in the Wacom Properties you need to make a custom Application profile for Indesign and turn off Windows Ink.
Having the same problem. How did you make the custom application profile?
Thank you for this fix, worked for me too....
Using a Wacom Intuis Pro 5 with touch;
I had a similar problem where the pen would work until I tried to select a text box, then InDesign would freeze and the mouse wouldn't move until I shook it using the touch, but it would work fine in touch mode.
Very annoying having to switch between the pen and touch all the time.
May thanks for this fix, saved me a lot of time!!
