Could you please let me know that you are not able to import the images in Lightroom from a specific folder, or it is some other import issue.
If you could please explain a little more .
and thanks for quick response. I am trying to import the pictures from the card. It is my wife’s card and she typically does not delete files too often so trying to import on my computer I see all files as new. I can see only the first day files, not the last day I am interested. I did not find any option to change this, like I easily did using the old version of Import plug-in in LR. I clearly can see this pictures using native Photos app in OS X. I am using El Captain. I assume if I would import these picture the next time (or after several other imports) I will see the files I want. But I find it a little ridiculous. Again, since I could do it with ease with previous version of LR.
Please let me know if I am doing something wrong,
I too am looking for answers (you are not alone).
Up until yesterday, importing worked just fine.
I could simultaneously import to 2 hard drives and label each photo with a subject and date.
The imported file would then appear in chronological order under the name of the primary hard drive.
I hope Adobe restores this functionality.
Are you using LR6.2 / CC2015.2 ?
You may add your vote here :http://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/topics/new-update-6-2
If you wish to roll back, here's how: http://www.lightroomqueen.com/how-do-i-roll-back-to-lightroom-2015-1-1-or-lightroom-6-1-1/
You can turn back to the "old" import screen with the following steps:
- Go to Lightroom > Preferences
- Click on the General tab
- Uncheck “Show ‘Add Photos’ Screen”
- Restart Lightroom
More information you'll find here: http://blogs.adobe.com/lightroomjournal/2015/10/update-on-lightroom-2015-2-lightroom-6-2-r elease.html
This will NOT give you the old import.
Ok. Then I've misunderstood some other informations that I have read and heard.
