    LR CC 2015.2.1 just hangs about after I close it


      Apart from other issues everyone else is annoyed about, the main problem for me is that whenever I quit Lightroom, it never fully closes and hangs active indefinitely in the background, hogging couple gigs of RAM. What's worse, the next time I try to start it, it never does, until I force kill the process leftovers from previous session. It also asks me to back up my catalogs every time I quit and keeps asking even if I allow it to run the backup.

      This is on Windows 7. Started after LR CC 2015.2 update, but 2015.2.1 hotfix did not improve this. Adobe support has been silent about this.

      Anyone experiencing similar issue? Any known way to fix this?
