Just do it as a single pages the way you need it - and the imposition guys at printing stage take care of the rest.
If you really want vertical spreads - then set up a normal spread, but switch your height and width - so now you're working sideways, as if you were going to design this way.
In the Pages Panel, choose Rotate Spread view, now you have vertical spreads to work on.
Thanks Eugene, but not quite what i want, For example if I want to pull an image across the spread single pages dont work and rotated pages are not quite it either.
Just to be clear on what I meant.
First view on the pages is non-rotated.
Duplicated the spread and rotated the view.
You don't need both pages - just for show, but you can design in rotated spread view, set back to normal for exporting.
In PDF you can rotate pages to suit.
Thanks you but this is what I used to do in CS5 but it doesn't work any more in CC
Just I'm used of working in vertical spreads and find it a pain going to rotating views.
