I have been following carefully discussion about the latest version of Lightroom, 6.2, and have been troubled by the massive changes made to the import process.
I have also installed this version of a second Macintosh, running El Capitan, and so have experienced myself what I believe is a deterioration of the program.
Frankly, I think the changes are terrible and I would like Adobe to roll back to the previous import dialogue.
Is it possible to complain directly to Adobe about this issue so that, hopefully, action will be taken?
Regarding the new Import, please add your vote and details about how you use the missing features to this topic in the official Adobe feedback forum: http://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/topics/new-update-6-2. Adobe has apologized for the mess created with 2015.2 / 6.2: http://blogs.adobe.com/lightroomjournal/2015/10/lightroom-6-2-release-update-and-apology.h tml.But it's not clear that Adobe will restore the missing features, so your feedback is still important.
Meanwhile, if you want to get work done, many experts recommend reverting back to CC 2015.1.1 / 6.1.1: How do I roll back to Lightroom 2015.1.1 or Lightroom 6.1.1? Wait until Adobe cleans up the mess, and let others do the beta testing.
