This morning I experienced a very large update for Windows 10/64. Since then I have been unable to run CC Light Room. The splash screen loads and then (in this case) the PRINT page and at this point Light Room appears to freeze. The Task manager shows that CC LR is going round in loops, using less than 1% of the processor capacity, so it's not locked up.
The questions are: what causes the problem and what (if anything) can I do about it?
Is it only me or have other people had this problem?.

Please follow the below steps to fix the above issue.
First turn off the GPU from the Lightroom Preferences
Click on Edit menu
Go to Preferences
Click on the Performance Tab
Uncheck the GPU
Then, Go to General Tab
Uncheck the Option " Show Add Photo Screen"
Restart the Lightroom
