When opening Photoshop in CS6, I constantly get the prompt “Trial version has expired, purchase or enter license number.” I never had a trial version and I do have a license from purchasing the product over a year ago. I never have issues opening Bridge or Acrobat Pro, just Photoshop.
I have had several chat sessions with Adobe and received emails from them with various attempted solutions. NONE OF THE THESE SOLUTIONS HAVE WORKED:
-Completely uninstall and reinstall CS6
-Create new admin account
-Delete the file opm.db and folder aamupdter. After deleting and emptying my recycle bin, they just re-appear
-Check permissions, here’s the text from the email I received about that, which is very vague!
Please check the administrative permissions onto the following locations
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe PCD
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\SLCache
None of these worked. I'm hoping someone in this community can help me with this. I've spent hours in online chats with many different Adobe support people, none of them have been able to solve this problem. I've ever experienced such poor customer support than I have with Adobe!
The possible steps have already been taken, I understand your emotion.
All the resolution in forums have the same resolution so I refrained from re posting them. Will it be not good to upgrade to Creative Cloud as you can avail them at promotional offer too.
Would you like me to set a call back, if yes, please feel free to in-box the order & contact details.
