Let us know if it helps.
I saw that post and tried to get it to work. As I understand that answer, I had to open each "published collection" in order to search for photos without text. Just opening a "published collection" provides my answer.
My hope is to find a way to locate within a Published Service (Behance, Flickr, Facebook, etc.) those several albums with unpublished or modified photos so that I could publish them. Some may not have any text at all.
I hope that this a better description of what I am asking for.
Again, Thank you @Mohit.
I believe you're looking for a way to quickly find photos that have been placed in a published collection that now need to be published (because they've been newly added or edited). As you discovered, the method in that other thread finds photos that have not been placed in any published collection, a different thing entirely.
There isn't a way to do exactly what you want. However, it's simple to get all your changes published. Just select all of the published collections for that service and click Publish. Only the newly added or changed photos will be pushed out. To select all of the published collections in a service, click on the first one and shift-click on the last one.
Thank you Mr. Rellis.
I just tried this, and LR wants to re-publish 1,263 out of 1,848 photos.
I hoped to publish 8 photos into 3 different FB albums.
Excepting for the new photos, most of the collections now shows that every photo is shown under "Modified Photos to Re-Publish" and also under "Published Photos" (a few only showed only published).
Yes, This method works, ......... Now I need to understand why almost everything shows up as changed.
Thank you @johnrellis
Did you change their dates, cactions, keywords, or other metadata?
I have added keywords, but not that would have had such a global effect.
I just ran a test. For 3 collections which would be a FB Albums.
I highlighted (by [Ctrl][Click] each collection's name and then clicked on [Publish].
I then received messages stating that "There are ## files to update on Facebook" with a warning that LR cannot replace or delete those already there. The options are [Upload] and manually remove the old ones; [Skip] and [Cancel].
I chose [Skip] for each and note that the new photos were published.
The "Modified Photos to Re-Publish" remain in place and were not uploaded.
You might check out the information about Facebook publishing on this page: Jeffrey Friedl's Blog » “Publish” in Jeffrey’s Export-to-Facebook Lightroom Plugin. The author has an excellent reputation (and helped architect Lightroom's publishing interface). According to him, there are severe limitations imposed by Facebook -- these might account for the behavior you're seeing.
In general, I think Friedl's export and publishing plugins are more robust and have more features than those built-in to Lightroom, though they are also more complicated to set up.
Thank you again johnrellis .

I will look at his plugins as they appear to be able to help with this and more.
Again, I thank you sir!
