Change the width of the [space] Character between words for a font

    Turner Design Agency

      Hi,

      I'm using a font called 1790 Royal Printing for a client's artwork:

      https://www.myfonts.com/fonts/glc/1790-royal-printing/buy.html

..the font is perfectly kerned character-to-character, but the width of the spacing character (as you'll see from the images at the above) is way too wide. At the moment I'm adjusting the width of the [space] one by one which is painstaking to say the least, so for example if the type is set at 30pt, I select one space and change the size to 16pt, copy and then paste it to change every space between words to 16pt .

..is there a way to set the width of just the spacing character, or any other time/labour saving workaround ?

      many thanks
