    Close SWF file After Play

    mediaops
      I need help please.

I've built a main menu page with a number of buttons which play a SWF movie when a button from the menu is clicked. How can I tell the playhead to go back and display the main menu (i.e. frame 1) once the SWF movie has stopped playing? Right now when the SWF movie stops playing, it just sits on top of the stage. I need it to disappear once completed and display the main menu again.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

      Thank you,

      Bob

Here's a behavior that you could attach to your Flash sprite. When you drop it on the sprite, you will be asked which marker to jump to: you will need to create a marker at your main menu. I suggest that you add a frame before your current frame 1, as Director performs extra housekeeping duties on frame 1. You could spread your menu sprites over the additional frame, then loop back to your marker on frame 2.

If you don't want any code to be executed after you jump to the marker, simply delete the FlashDone command, in the Execute Movie handler parameter.
