Indesign CC 2015 not recognizing bleed in a placed object

      Hi Guys-

I'm at a bit of a loss here.

about a week ago, after updating to the latest InDesign, I noticed a change.

If I place a pdf into my layout that had a bleed, InDesign would not show it.

      An example:

I have a 6X4 layout and I have a 6X4 pdf (File has 0.125 bleed) that I am placing into, my layout.  When I place it into the new layout, the bleed is missing. I have the pdf open now and the size of the file is 6.25X4.25. The 0.25 being the bleed.  I have the source file ans the bleed is there.

However when I place it, the bleed is gone. How is it possible for InDesign to ignore the bleed in a pdf.  This is a new thing.  I've been doing this for years and now it's not working.  I've had togo open the source file, enlarge it so that the image includes the bleed areas and then replace int into InDesign.

Did something change in this last update?
