If you mean you can't see the bleed on images that bleed on your PDF, then remake the PDF again and in the Acrobat panel tick Use Document Bleed Settings (which is under the Bleed and Marks tab).
You may need to show the import options and change the crop settings to Bleed.
I am having the same problem. I import it to include bleed but when it imports it only shows trim. Is there a fix?
Presumably you have actually added bleed in InDesign to those images that bleed.
Works fine is CS6 but not on CC 2015. I'm having all kinds of preview issues with CC 2015... seems like a really sloppy update... Quite frustrating.
Funny thing is, I tried export a pdf of that page that doesn't preview the bleed but I asked for the bleed and it exports fine with bleed and everything. Just won't appear in the preview mode.
Anyone else having preview issues?
I'm on an iPad so can't check, surely in InDesign Preview mode, the bleed doesn't show, and that's how it's supposed to look!
Yes, I've just double-checked and nothing's changed in the View menu. You can choose Normal, Preview and Bleed (that's Preview with the bleed showing) and Slug as Presentation views. You can access these via View > Screen Mode, or use the icon in the toolbox:
The keyboard shortcut is 'w', but I found I was putting unwanted w's in my documents, so I created my own shortcut Alt + w and this is great for easily toggling backwards and forward between Preview and Normal views.
I guess I'm not explaining it very well...
This is 'fast display':
This is "typical display':
This is high quality display:
This is preview with bleed:
As you can see, with 'fast display' I can see some of the content (but not the ad on the right hand page that I imported). On both typical and high quality, although the boxes and elements are still there (ie. if I export those pages as pdfs, they are fine) but I can't see them. And when I 'preview' with or without 'bleed', I still can't see anything.
Any ideas now... trust me, I use this software every day for 10 years, this doesn't usually happen....
And, I have uninstalled CC and reinstalled all the software all over again and same thing...
ok, just did that (thanks) but same thing...
