Activating of MEPG2 Component in Premiere Elements

    sveinb43358535

I can't get the listed website: http://www.adobe.com/go/premiereel_encoder to open.

If I search the above website in Google I fins it and it can open, but it would not accept the Serial Number given by Adobe Premier. The serial number looks like this: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxx13.0-xxxxx-xxxx

Any solutions for this so I can make some movies?

What version of Premiere Elements on what computer operating system?

Are you working with an Internet connection? If not, do you have temporary access to one so that you can try for the automatic MPEG2 Activation?

Are you getting any messages about MPEG2 Activation no longer available for Premiere Elements 8.0/8.0.1 or earlier?

          Please give more information.

          Thank you.

            Hello A.T. Romano.

I'm on a ship right now, and can't connect my laptop to internet, but I

have access to the internet. I tried to use the serial number that my

Premiere Elements came up with, and insert that into the website I found on

Google. I tried to use copy - paste via a word document and I tried to

write it on the website manually. No success.

I don't get any messages at all. When I type the serial number and press

submit, it looks like it starts to work, but it returns after a second with

the same website and empty field for serial number. Please see the attached

            screenshot.

When I try to connect to the website that is shown in my premiere "

http://www.adobe.com/go/premiereel_encoder" I get that this page is not

            available.

I'm using windows 7 for the internet connection, but on my laptop I have

windows 10. My Premiere Elements version is 13.0

To activate an install you need to be connected to the Internet. And, you will need periodic activation for first time/one time only features, such as MPEG2 Activation.

How many versions of Premiere Elements do you have on the laptop? If more than one, does the other version of Premiere Elements have MPEG2 Activation?

I am not sure what you meant by

When I try to connect to the website that is shown in my premiere "

http://www.adobe.com/go/premiereel_encoder" I get that this page is not

              available.

When I click on the link to open it, I see

              MPEG2 Activation.JPG

Do you see that? If so, when does the problem start with there - nothing happening when you click on Generate Activation Code or something else?

                Hello Romano.

If I must be connected to internet to activate features like MPEG2, I will

need to wait until I can get connected on shore somewhere.

I have only 1 version of Premiere Elements.

If you see on the attached screenshot (adobe actication 2), you will see

that it is stated: Go to this website:

http://wwww.adobe.com/go/premiereel_encoder. On this website is it that I

have been trying to insert the serial number that is shown in the window. I

can't open this website directly, but only via google. I can type the

serial number in the box on this website, but when I click on submit,

nothing happens and the website returns blank.

This website is not that same as I get to when I click on the link that you

sent to me today. If you look at the attached screenshot (Adobe activation

                1) you can see what I get.

This website that I get up in my browser is a different website than the

                one you sent today.

                I tried to type in

                www.adobe.com/special/encoderactivation/sw_activation02.html and after a

couple attempt, I can type in the serial number and receive the activation

                number. This worked fine.

                Thank you for all help.

                  Thanks for the reply.

                  Great news

                  I tried to type in

                  www.adobe.com/special/encoderactivation/sw_activation02.html and after a

couple attempt, I can type in the serial number and receive the activation

What is your computer's default web browser? I have been using Mozilla Firebox 41.0.2 (at this moment stated as being latest version). The above address also works if I am using Google Chrome as the computer's web browser.

Great job of follow through to gain your success.

                  Best wishes
