Premiere Elements 11 on what computer operating system?
If you have not already, please review and go through the Adobe document on damage projects.
After you do that and, if not solution, then we can decide what next based on the details in your reply.
Thanks a lot. I was able to manage the problem. There was a automaticly save-file I could open!

Wonderful news that you were able to save your project using one of the AutoSave. Great job.
When you opened the AutoSave to regain your project, did it include everything that you had done just before you saved, closed, and tried to reopen the project?
Those AutoSaves capture your project at defined times according to your setting in preferences. My concern is that you were able to open one of the earlier AutoSaves where you had not gotten to the action which triggered the problem.
If you remember the last action before the save close of the project and it is not done yet in the AutoSave, watch that step closely when you go to do it again in the recovered project. Please disregard if this idea does not apply to your situation.
We are very pleased for the good news. Best wishes.
