On Oct 16 2015, I installed an update to the June 2015. Now Indesign takes 5 minutes to load, the splash screen makes it crash, the mouse is so laggy that it's almost impossible to click on anything.
Menus won't open. I have to close it with Ctrl+alt+del to exit. And that takes a long time too. I cannot do any work on it. I have re-installed Indesign 2014 and uninstalled 2015 in order to keeping working. (I have spent
hours trying to figure this out, and just gave up. Has anybody else had this problem and found a solution?

I finally gave it an hour to load and another half hour to delete the splash screen. Then I could get to the preferences. Changed the setting.
However, the exit command doesn't work. The only way to close the program is through the Windows Task Manager, and that doesn't save the settings. So, I am back where I started.
I uninstalled the program (via the Creative cloud panel), and re-installed it. But it's the same problem.
