After uploading files to lightroom size is fine and large. After editing and saving into desktop folder file images shrink and not big enough and is less than 2MB. Tried settings in megapixils, demensions and width and height but still not to much difference in size still too small. Any suggestions that can keep file the same size when transferring back to desktop to put in folder to email out.
What is the exact workflow?
Please share the screenshot of your export settings dialog box.
There is an option to limit the file size and resize the image as well.
Please check those settings.
File size is not an indicator of quality, but pixel dimensions are.
What are the pixel dimensions of the original, and to what pixel dimensions are you exporting?
Jpgs uses compression, so the exported file will always be smaller than the original, sometimes a lot smaller.
The jpg compression is lossy, so there is always some degree ofimage degradation.
If you want maximum quality, set it to 100.
