    overlapping tiles in a tileList

is it possible to have tiles overlap rather than be adjacent? I've tried a negative padding value with no luck. -b

Sounds like you may need to extend TileList and do that in updateDisplayList.

If you mess with the measure() function so that when TileList measures that
first tile it doesn't report correctly, they might overlap depending on how
your component draws (i.e. if you make it draw outside the measured area).
Also, if your other tiles are larger than the first tile and, again, you
draw outside your measured area, you can get overlapping.
