Nobody can tell you anything without proper system info or other technical details. Yes, CC 2015 is full of bugs and this issue is all over the place. Feel free to downgrade to CC 2014.
Mylenium has resigned himself to the problems of AE CC 2015.
What he means to say is DO downgrade to 2014, give up on 2015 until 2016... at the earliest.
Maybe we should all give up our subscriptions until they fix their software
Well, that's where Adobe has you by the short hairs. If you stop paying your rent, AE stops working 90 days later.
Seems to me everyone is unhappy about it, I would like to see a credit on my account for putting up with it.
Edited for content. KM
Show me an example of a consumer boycott that's worked, ever, and I'll consider it.
Well I am trying, see thread Dear Adobe...
I have since posted 2 Bug reports, and PM the Product Manager, I'm not looking to rip anyone's shirts off but I get fed up with "Upgrades" that are downgrades and bugs where no-one wants bugs. I know it's software, it's difficult, but there is a limit to what we should have to put up with.
You're using mechanisms they've put in place deliberately, explicitly, to placate, pacify and distract users from genuine concerns.
Nothing you do within their framework and mechanisms does anything but reinforce their current ways of doing things.
Your (and our) only hope is to raise a public shaming of Adobe, somewhere, somehow, of such strength that it genuinely impacts their ability to generate profit. Profit is their only concern.
Usually this involves a celebrity of some sort rallying a messaging that resonates through mainstream media in outrage at a slight or insult to consumers and/or users.
OR... a union/group having the same reach and power.
There are neither celebrity motion designers nor a significant organised group of them.
So the situation is pretty much hopeless, and Adobe will simply keep being Adobe.
You are probably right, however I'm not looking to tear down the company. I am just trying to communicate my personal experience of a decrease of service over the last few years and the downgraded recent release of AE 2015. Yes they are a large corp. entity, but they are run by people. They poop like the rest of us. Last I checked I didn't need a celebrity and a social campaign to make a simple complaint. If that is what stops you from making a complaint then they have truly won the game.
