Couldn't find much on this specific malware so here goes. Downloading multiple apps, 2 of which (Photoshop CC 2015, After Effects CC 2015) installed, but subsequent patches failed.
My antivirus software (BullGuard) is picking up a Gen:Variant.Kazy.722977 style trojan horse in the setup files. See below for error message and antivirus specifics:
Any ideas on why this is the case? Is this a false alarm?
I'm currently running a full scan to check there's nothing lurking in my system files - this particular piece of malware looks like it might be a real pain to get rid of if infected.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Is it safe to do this?
I'm worried the malware might already be on my system and doing so will cause problems.
It could be a possibility that the application is detecting the Adobe setup as malware. I would request you to please disable the antivirus and try the update once again.
