Drag/Drop: Return to Start if Dropped Outside (not working as desired)

Hi,

In Adobe Captivate, I can set the drop targets in a drag-and-drop interaction to only accept the correct drag object. Can I do the same in Adobe Presenter 10? I have set up a drag and drop quiz question, but I want each drag object to bounce back to its starting location if it is dropped anywhere outside its correct drop target. I have checked the Return to start if dropped outside checkmark in the Drag Item Options section of the edit panel for the interaction. However, items do not bounce back if dropped onto an incorrect drop target. Is there a way to make them do that in Presenter 10?

Thanks!

Hi Raymond,

With the option you checked, the drag object will bounce back to its starting location if it is dropped anywhere outside a drop target. That is it will bounce back only if it is dropped outside all the drop objects.

If it is dropped on any wrong drop object, it will not bounce back and is considered as a wrong answer.

However you may give users infinite attempts to get the answer correct .

Thanks

Hi Alpi,

Thanks for the reply. You are correct, of course. But my question is: Is there any way to make wrong drop targets reject a drag object in Presenter 10 (or 11)?

Cheers!
