It's gone. It's not there. The work-around is to use Virtual Copies, instead of importing a photo more than once.
Not a great solution when you have multiple programs ie. classes that may use the same image for training purposes. In addition the logistics of being able to copy those images and send to the students has increased by 4000% What a poor decision on Adobes part.
Since the import version of LR 01/02/2015 I can not sensibly manage my image files. Duplicates in the subfolders are no longer displayed.
This filter is counterproductive and the use of LR makes it so no sense to me more. The solution to an old version downgrade is for when using a cloud version pointlessly.
So I can not accept the answer. When managing images for uploading to various stock agencies I work temporarily with subfolders or location from different folders files for ftp upload together. That is no longer possible with LR.
In the existing structure to me only a part of the file is displayed, because I have no overview.
Whoever replaces me the previous time to find the problem and the lost time to find my previous files?
If this is not resolved in a short time I will announce the LR subscription.
Adobe product developers rarely participate in this forum, which is primarily a user-to-user forum. A huge number of users have already criticized Adobe heavily for the new Import window, posting their feedback in the official Adobe feedback forum: http://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/topics/new-update-6-2. Adobe has apologized for the new Import window and all the bugs in the CC 2015.2 release: Lightroom 6.2 Import Update, http://blogs.adobe.com/lightroomjournal/2015/10/lightroom-6-2-release-update-and-apology.h tml. They have said they will restore the old import "experience" in the next release, but there haven't been any details yet.
They have really hurt themselves with this one. I teach hundreds of students each year and this is going to bite them, Any time you as a company decide that you know better than your customers how they should use your program, you are in trouble. Apologies or not this has to be fixed soon.
