What version of Premiere Elements, what computer operating system?

The answers will be in the details, including

          1. What are the properties on the source files that you are importing into the project? Often brand/model/settings for the camera that recorded the video will give us enough of that kind of information.

You are most likely going to create an AVCHD.mp4 file by exporting your Timeline in the sharing area of your version. We need to define the properties of that AVCHD.mp4 once we have more information from you on the source media properties.

The major consideration for the file sending by email is the file size, unless you use a Google Drive or Dropbox shareable link posted in the

email instead of a file attachment.

Please give more details so that we can customize a reply to start you into your projects and obtaining the end products that you seek.

              Thank you for the reply.

Premiere Elements 13 on Windows 10....

We still need information on your video on the Timeline and your project settings. The duration of the Timeline content is going to be important if file size is going to be a factor in sharing your video with others. So, you need to give more information on the import and editing side of things.

The exporting will depend on the importing/editing but nevertheless will take us to Publish+Share/Computer/AVCHD with one of the MP4 presets. Your details will suggest which of the MP4 presets to use. If file size is a problem with that route, we can make export adjustments beyond the selected preset by clicking on the Advanced Button and customizing the export settings under Advanced Button/Video Tab.

If we cannot get a file with a file size small enough by the Publish+Share/Computer/AVCHD and its MP4 route, we may have to try Publish+Share/Computer/Windows Media. (You may not see Windows Media when you look for it. It is a choice at the bottom of the Publish+Share/Computer/ choices. You will need to use the tiny scroll bar to the right of the choices to scroll down to it.)

But, the details requested will get the process moving in a workable state.

If you need clarification, please do not hesitate to let me know.

              Thank you.

Add On...Not sure if you have seen the following

Learn Premiere Elements | Adobe TV

A lot, if not most, are shown in the Quick workspace. I prefer the Expert workspace (for new and long time user) because I feel you can see better what is happening and thus have more control over the workflow. Sometimes those videos include demonstrations using different Premiere Elements versions. So, if you are watching a video that does not look like what you have, please let us know so that we can sort out the details of the procedure that you are watching.

                Que faire .....

Quand mon assemblage de 3 film était près j'ai fait voir document en

                  Thank you for the replies.

We speak about too large - "205". What is this "205" MB (megabytes)?

Have you tried to export your Timeline using the Publish+Share/Computer/Windows Media choice.

Most of the Email providers do not allow for much over 10 to 15 MB.

I would try the Windows Media choice and see how low you can set the Bitrate in the Advanced export settings without losing major quality.

An example if your Timeline is 1920 x 1080 @ 25 progressive frames per second....

                  Lucien.JPG

                  Publish+Share/Computer/Windows Media with Presets = WMV 720 x 576 16 x 9 25. Then under the Advanced Button/Video Tab, set for the following

You can adjust that "Average video Bitrate (Kbps)" down from 1500 to try for a lower Bitrate associated with a smaller file size.

Did you understand what I meant by using a Shareable Link from Google Drive or Dropbox to put in your email instead of a file attachment in the email?

If no other choice, can you divide the Timeline content to get more than 1 file and send the files in separate emails?

We will be watching for your results. Any questions or need more clarification, please ask.

                  Thank you.
