    3d questions

    Level 7
Hi, have a few 3D questions. Sorry if they area too simple, an just a
      beginner.
      - Is worldPosition of a model the center of the model?
      - If I want to find a point a certain below (down the y axis) from the
world position, how do I do that?
      - If I'm making my 3d scene in Max, how can I define the worldposition
of models? Is the origin fixed when you start your Max file?

      Thanks for the support.

          1) only in case of primitives (pivot = bounding box center = geometrical center).
          2) I'm not sure what do you mean with "find a point a certain below", but you can cast a ray and check out the '#isectPosition'
          3) select the model, click on "Hierarchy / Affect Pivot Only" and set the position & rotation of the pivot as you like.
