Still doesn't work. It was working without flaws before. Either with my graphic processor activated or not?
I am getting different messages depending of the images I am trying to merge, either panorama or HDR. As an exemple here's the most commun:
- Unable to merge the photos. Not enough matching photos for merging, or
- Unable to match a lens profile automatically. For best results apply the appropriate lens profile to the photos before merging?, or
- A grey screen without any message, etc
If I do apply a lens profile on my images I then get a black image?
I am getting the same problem (or sort of), I can't do photo merges on the new Lightroom from RAW images. I get a black screen every time I try. I spent hours talking to Adobe Support while they were telling that the problem was on my files but when I went back to the older version of LR and everything worked fine then they finally admitted it was a problem with the new update. They told me they were gonna let the engineers know about the problem and it would be fixed in the next release, but the next release came and there was no fix. I decided to go back to the earlier version so that I can go back to doing panoramas until this gets fixed (or if it ever gets fixed)
Please do Help > System Info and report the exact version you're currently running. ("Latest release" is ambiguous given that the Adobe updater fools people into thinking they have the latest release.)
The version that I am now and that the panorama works is CC 2015
The "latest one", that the panorama didn't work and I had to go back, was CC 2015.2
Just so that you know, it got broken on 2015.1
Adobe support told me it was going to be fixed on the next release, but when I updated to 2015.2 it still didn't work, so I wen't back to 2015
If I try to do panoramas from Jpegs it works fine, but not from RAW.
Also, the latest release is actually 2015.2.1, so you weren't in fact on the latest release. But there probably isn't any difference between 2015.2 and 2015.2.1 with respect to your merge issue.
In Adobe Creative Cloud I can only roll back to version 5. My previous Lightroom version that was working perfectly well was 2015.1.1. Is this the one you have been able to reinstall?
If yes? How did you do it?

I have the same issue. If I convert my ARW RAW files to JPG they work but the RAW ones don't. I didcovered that, if I turn off Auto Align they work again. Does this work for you?
Thanks so much for the tip. Although the "photomerge had been working it stoped with 2015 1.1for me. I unchecked "Use graphics processor" and it worked again. I guess I'll use it as work around until the next update.
Opps my mistake, It was the fact that I choose JPGS and not RAW that allowed the merge to work, not the graphis card !
I updated to Lightroom 6.4 just to get the new HDR feature and now am finding that it just does not work. Have tried turning off the graphics processor as suggested and it still doesn't work. This is so frustrating.
