You should locate the sound object and call the stop() method. Short of that, you could just call the stopAllSounds() method immediately before you start your video:
I guess I just don't know where to write the code since there are no physical buttons. The xml document is somehow loaded (that contains the information for the video section). The videos that are clickable are not located in the Flash FLA file and that is where I don't know what to do. I tried attaching the StopAllSounds code to the VIDEO button at the top, but it screwed up the loading of the videos. Anyway, it's a tough one..
Your template has an actions timeline, (the frames are marked with the letter a) in the properties view go into the actions tab, this is where code is written. Have fun!
Thomas is right. Having code on buttons is not a best practice. Ideally, your code is on frames so it's somewhat easier to locate.
