    MacBook Pro Fan Noise

      Hi there,

I've just upgraded two things at the same time (not wise I know) and am now experiencing high fan noise when using Lightroom.

I've moved from a MacBook Air to a MacBook Pro (2.5Ghz i7, 16GB RAM) and an now running the latest Lightroom CC 2015 2.1.

Whenever I dip into the Develop Module, or render previews, or export files, I get an almost immediate 200-300% CPU usage and high fan noise, something which never used to happen on the Air. It's almost embarrassing if I'm working with journalists around me who just type away quietly. I've made sure Face Detection and LR Mobile are turned off, but is there anything else I can do or is this normal? Tempted to go back to the Air to be honest as I feel this is a liability...
