Struggling to get edge animation into a responsive wordpress site

I have a foundation based wordpress site and I'm trying to add an edge animation, with limited success.

I tried the Edge suite plug in (developer version) which did place the animation, but it ended up behind other site content and wasn't responsive.

I then tried the OAM plug in for wordpress, which places the animation but uses an iframe, so if I add a fixed height for the iframe if breaks the layout for smaller screen sizes.

I found a tutorial for adding manually but it was based on edge 2014 and the instructions didn't work for newer version.

I have also tried just hard coding the markup in the template page but its not showing up at all that way
