Please follow the below steps.
> click on the drop down option of secondary screen
> make sure that the Full screen is checked.
> If not, please click on it to check it
> Then turn on the secondary screen to check
You can also use Shift + F11 to enable/disable the Fullscreen option for secondary screen

Thanks so much for your effort. It didn't help, however. Even in full screen mode, the secondary screen jumps back to the laptop display. For example, if I edit a photo in Photoshop (which is on my aux display), and then save it, when I return to the laptop display and click on Lightroom, the secondary display jumps back to the laptop! So annoying!

I appreciate your help, but it didn't work. Overtime I send a file to Photoshop on my aux monitor from Lightroom, the Lightroom Secondary display on the aux monitor goes away --- and then when I return to Lightroom on my laptop, it comes up back on the laptop screen.
