So sorry. I have no idea how to do what you suggest.
But one thing -- I was able to print another image at 11 X 17.
a different image
For that particular image, go to print job panel under Print module and choose JPEG file under the Print to dropdown menu.
This will enable the Print to File button at bottom right through which you can save image anywhere on your machine and print it from there.
OK I saved on the desktop. But how do I print from there? I'm sorry but I'm a beginner at printing.
I have a feeling that I may have made a mistake in how I exported the tif file to jpg. When given the options, I elected 8 X 10. Then when I tried to print via LR print at 11 X 17 I got an 8 X 11 image positioned upper left quadrant on the 11 X 17 paper.
Is there a primer on printing with Lightroom 6?
Open that image in the default Picture Viewer and try to Print from there.
And if you were able to print another image at 11 by 17 size through Lightroom then, the issue could be just file specific.
I was able to print from Preview, but although I specified 11 X 17 what I
got was about 10.5 X 12.0. At least it was centered. Meanwhile I¹ve printed
several other images at 11 X 17 fine. So if it¹s file specific, what does
It means it has something to do with that specific file as it is not getting printed correctly either from Lightroom or outside Lightroom.
Or, may be the print settings are not set correctly.
If possible, can you recreate that file?
Or, upload it online on dropbox or wetransfer and share the download link with us so that we can try to check the same on our end.
I'm using the same print settings on other images that worked fine. I'll re-do the images that are not printing this weekend. Thanks for your help. I'll get back if the new ones don't work.
