I have multiple clips in a timeline, but want to extract and save a couple of clips for future use as separate files for other projects...becasue I already have those trimmed to the size I want etc....

      how do I do that?

Premiere Elements 14 on what computer operating system?

          Generalizing....

You will do selective export of the Timeline content. It has two requirements.

          1. At the Timeline, you move the gray tabs of the Work Area Bar to span just the clip to be exported

          and

          2. At Export & Share/ , you must have an export choice that includes the option "Share Work Area Bar Only" and that choice needs to be enabled by placing a check mark next to it.

The choice of the export settings needs to be consistent for your current project settings as well as for your intentions for this file.

After you provide the requested information, I will customize the reply for you, including screenshots if needed.

Please do not hesitate to ask if questions or need clarification on any of the above or your overall workflow.

          Thank you.
