My iMac graphic card died. I went to the Apple store and they changed it (not for free because the warranty was expired). I have now an AMD Radeon HD 6970M 1024 MB. In papers looks pretty cool. Now, when i opened Lightroom the performance went to the sink. It's impossible to work. I lose the mouse pointer, i deleted a control point and the little cloud that appeared, stayed on the screen, and more.
Is it a product issue? should i do something in the OS to refresh graphic card installation?
iMac (27-inch, Mid 2011)
Processor: 3.1 GHz Intel Core i5
Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 6970M 1024 MB
Memory: 16 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Catalog in the HD, photos in an external drive connected thru a fast connection.
basically i cannot use Lightroom CC due to its performance.
thanks in advance!!
Please disable use of Graphics Processor under Lightroom>>Edit>>Preferences>>Performance >>Uncheck "Use Graphics Processor"(MAC)
