Yup... I'm on the most recent release.
About a week ago, I discovered that Lightroom is no longer closing completely. I'm on Win 7 pro and have the most recent release of LR. If I open task manager, lightroom.exe is still running in the processes tab. If I force it to exit, I can then restart LR with no problem. Screencast below. I've tried the various suggestions in the forums with no effect. Fortunately, I'm not dead in the water but it's a bit cumbersome.
Please follow the below steps.
|||Navigate to the location of the catalog.|
|||Move the catalog to a different location(e.g. Desktop)|
<Now Lightroom will not be able to find the catalog and will ask you to create a new catalog>
|||Create a new catalog and import few images|
|||Quit Lightroom to check for the issue.|
If working fine, Use Import from another catalog to import the images from the previous catalog.
Let me know if this helps.
i had the same problem on a mac. I discovered when I disable the autoimport functionality everything works fine.
